Longlisted! WriteMentor Awards
I’ve been longlisted for the WriteMentor 2025 Novel and Picture Book Awards!
Out of around 450 entries in the picture book category, only 23 were chosen for the longlist and my story was one of them!
“What does this mean?”
Longlist - all entries are whittled down to a longlist
Shortlist - this is followed by a further cut down to a shortlist
Winners - the eventual winners will be chosen
Being longlisted in this category means being in the top 5% of the books chosen to progress, which is an amazing achievement.
I only started taking writing a bit more seriously not even 12 months ago, so this is something I’m extremely proud of.
Congratulations to everyone who was longlisted and fingers crossed for even more success moving forward!
